Arson and Novelty Lighters Duties and Responsibilities

As school lets out for the summer, the contact police have with juveniles increases.

This month we  hear from Detective Pat Morris on the concerns police have with juveniles and their summertime activities.

The officers stress topics including the importance of: curfews, knowing where your kids are, what they are doing, and with whom.

There has been a Nationwide increase in the production of novelty lighters made to look like toys.  These can include the likes of: animals, Coke cans, frogs and even doll furniture.

This can be very dangerous for young children.  They simply can't tell the difference between toys and these dangerous lighters. Even parents have mistakenly bought these for children, mistaking them for toys.

Chuck tells us about the concerns with novelty lighters and urges us to be aware of the problem.
