n Minnesota's unpredictable winter weather, it's a good idea to prepare for the worst and hope for the best. This month Officer Steve Beberg, a Coon Rapids patrol officer for many years, helps prepare us for the dangers winter driving may have in store. From winter safety kits for inside the vehicle to driving tactics that may help us maneuver out of a dangerous situation, he will try to cover it all to keep you and your family safe.

Fire: How to Become a Firefighter
Fire Prevention Specialist Chuck Fleury received an email wanting to know what was needed to become a Coon Rapids Firefighter and of course Chuck jumped at the chance. Chuck will discuss where to go to get the training, what is taught, how to apply to work for the city, the ongoing training and what you can expect if you would like to become a career firefighter.
