She's a ballet dancer with the 'Out on a Limb' dance company and loves it.  She had a once in a lifetime chance to appear in the Moscow Ballet's 'Great Russian Nutcracker' at the Northrop Theatre.

She was named 'Daycare Provider of the Year' for 2003, by Licensed Daycare Providers of Anoka County.

They met through the Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities.  We learn what it takes to be a 'Big' and how it can change the life of a 'Little'.

Vern Waldner
He volunteers not only as a driver for Epiphany Pines and the CR Senior Center, he also gives over 1000 hours of his time as an Anoka County Sheriff's Reserve Officer.

Vi Smith
She's a great example of a senior staying active.  She volunteers at Mercy Hospital, her church and other community groups in need. This 81 year old gets a "helpers high" from her efforts.

Ted Johnson
This CRHS graduate was named Director of Communications for the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx last August.  He works all aspects of the the Wolves' communication groups including relations with the community and the team's web site.

Robyn Smith  
Her job is working as a behavioral specialist with the Anoka Hennepin school district, but for fun she is a dog musher. She won the John Beargrease Dog Sled Marathon in 2003.

The Chiodo Twins

Derek and Kyle Chiodo are 19yr old World Champion power lifters and  know their way around a gym.  At 5'5 and 5'6", they can't be judged on size alone.  They are capable of lifting 500-550lbs.

Everyone seems to have a new way of cutting carbs so to straighten out fact from fiction, we spend time with Amy Hood, a nutritionist.  We ask her to explain this trend so you can decide if it might just work for you.
